How do I know if I can use my email ?

Kolibo is currently working for all email accounts with IMAP enabled. Contact your email provider to see how to enable IMAP for your account.

Do you store my password or emails ?

We do not store email passwords on our servers. We give back of your password to your browser with a DEADBOLT encryption incase we need it again. Your emails are not stored on our servers until you convert it to a note, task event or time log.

What about POP3 ?

POP3 was intended for whatever client you use to download your emails. Since we have no intentions of getting your junk (LOL). We did not release kolibo with POP3 support. Our developers are currently (July 14, 2011) working on a solution and will definitely be apart of our next release.

How secure are my files ?

Your files are stored on an Amazon S3 server. This guarantees that your files will never be accidentally deleted. We set all files on our S3 server to private and allow only kolibo to access them. Kolibo in turns checks the credentials of the user requesting this file, before actually giving it away. In order to access a file, you would either need to be the original sender, contributor or be a member of the project that file belongs to.

What is the maximum size file I can upload ?

Right now, emails usually support 10MB attachments. Gmail supports 20MB. We allow 50 MB. Files larger than 10MB will automatically be included in your email as a link, when clicked, will prompt the user to login to Kolibo to retrieve.
